Motorola's MINITOR Alert Monitor Receiver,
Motorola's Customer Owned Messaging Group has released a
technology advanced version of one of its paging products, the
MINITOR alert monitor receiver.
Motorola in May of 2002 announced the new and improved
Minitor IV. Motorola's upgraded has all those traits and
more. One of the most robust paging devices to date has enhanced
design and delivers improved functionality for even greater
dependability.
Some of the unique features are the Intrinsically Safe
certification for use in hazardous classified locations. The
intrinsic safety ration of the Minitor IV is approved for use:
Division 1, Class I, Group C, D, Class II, Group E, F G. The
improved functionality for better reliability for several
performance-enhancing features make the Motorola especially
durable and user-friendly. The redesigned Function Select switch
enables users to a firm, solid click when toggling between
functions. The redesigned knobs are sturdier, one piece
construction and are larger and more tapered. This making it
easier for gloved hands to secure a firm grip. Also the rugged
housing design adds value to the units overall durability.
The most trusted alert monitor in the fire and emergency
service market now has even more capabilities including
scanning, vibrating alert and expanded calls. With features like
corrosion resistant packaging and over 35 hours of battery life,
the alert monitor receiver performs under the most severe
conditions. The receiver's new compact design also includes
field programming capabilities for frequency and codes, and is
now able to handle six calls per channel. The receiver's
new channel scan capabilities allow customers to listen to
channel traffic on two separate channels, so important calls are
received. The VIBRA-Page™ feature alerts customers to incoming
pages, keeping them informed in the loudest and toughest
conditions.
Motorola's family of voice pager alert monitor receivers has
long been the preferred choice in the skydiving service market.
Motorola is committed to constantly improving its products and
providing voice systems that meet or exceed specifications.
Motorola is one of the world's leading providers of wireless
communications, semiconductors, and advanced electronic systems,
components, and services.
